Have you ruled out everything else, maybe they aren't whats giving you hives. Just as there are many different antibiotics, but all work against bacterial infections, different progestins (synthetic progesterones) also work differently, and so you have to compare their androgenic and progesterone activity, which involves mathematics that I admit, I don't understand in order to calculate how they actually function on various systems.
